This was a photo essay for Original Gravity magazine. Herbstfest - Autumn (or 'harvest') festival - is held in early september in the pleasant Bavarian town of Rosenheim. There's just one type of beer on offer, brewed especially by local giants Erdinger. We also enjoyed a short trip to Munich, where we visited the peculiar Bratwurst Glockl Am Dom - really just a hatch in a side room off a restaurant. Some of the best beer in Germany, brewed by Augustiner and served fresh from a wooden barrel cooled by ice. Click on an image to enlarge.
